Almost cycle 2
Wow this year really is flying by very quickly!
Almost all the Year 7's have completed their electronic game project. It has been great to see their creative spirits and also that they are able to problem solve when things don't go as planned.
The Year 8 lighting piece has gone well too. Students have been drawing and modelling what their lighting pieces will look like. In cycle 2 we will be completing the modelling process and producing the light shades.
I will post some pictures soon.

The brain
2012
Hello all
Welcome to another year of Multi Materials Technology. This year we have changed some things up a little. We are seeing the students a little less, making class time a bit more intensive.
We are using our time to design and make various objects. The Year 7 & 8 programme has changed a little compared to year past. the Year 7's are designing an electronic game where they will learn how circuits work and how to make simple connections. Later in the year they will be designing and making a piece of garden sculpture. It looks like it is going to shape up to a very interesting year.
The Year 8's are consolidating skills that they learnt last year. They will then design and make their own lighting piece for the home. This is a fairly intricate project so will take us through from cycle 1 and 2. I am looking forward to seeing what the year 8's produce.
Should be a great year!
